EPA at Dingo Festival

EPA News

Since our inception in 2013 EPA have been a Naarm based Victorian group of artists.

Now in 2026 a new chapter has begun in Bangalow, Northern New South Wales:

Welcoming:

Geraldine, Mitch, Raisy, Taytay, Tess, Tora and Tom!

Dingo Festival

Anchored in jazz and programmed through a contemporary lens, DINGO brings together

internationally acclaimed musicians, leftfield selectors, performance artists, chefs and

thinkers for four days of performances, conversations and shared experiences. Unfolding

across Bangalow's halls, galleries, record stores and public spaces, the festival invites

audiences to move through the town at their own pace, discovering unexpected encounters

where music, art and community intersect.

EPA at Dingo Festival

The main mission of the DINGO Art Department is to make art from, of, and about the place itself – Bangalow and the greater Northern Rivers Region. This part of the world enjoys a unique, varied, and rich cultural fabric. Through engagement with the Bundjalung people, local artists and performers, and the wider community, we aim to support, serve and promote the cultural life to which we belong.

One of the initiatives is:

The creation of a site-specific performance group to make work deriving from Bangalow to

activate the town during the festival. This company aims to be an enduring presence in the

region. There are many site-based performers in the Northern Rivers. We hope to bring these

artists together on an ongoing basis to bring recognition to the area as a global centre of

place-based artmaking.

Dingo Festival
"We acknowledge that we live, work and create on the lands and waters of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people. We recognise that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people are the Traditional Custodians of the lands and their continuing connection to the land and waters surrounding us. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
We acknowledge that generations of First Nations people have danced, performed and told story here for over sixty thousand years and these rich customs and traditions continue in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island culture today."
